Evaluation Activity 2

This image shows Charlotte who is from  It's Watching You. Her role in the film is the protagonist who is targeted by the antagonist who is unknown by the audience and they are desperate to find out who it is. Charlotte's appearance in the film is casual clothing as the setting is located at a house. This also makes the audience relate to the character.  

The character shown in this image is Casey Becker from the horror film Scream. Her role in Scream is the protagonist who is targeted by the  antagonist who is dressed all in black with a ghostly mask on and the audience are desperate to find out who it is and why they are going round killing people. Casey's appearance in the film is casual clothing as the production company want the audience to relate to the character.

Similarities between both characters 

There is a range of similarities between both characters. One of the similarities is the setting  which are both located in a house that they are in while no one else is at home or seen during the film until something happens. Another similarity between both characters is their appearance which is casual clothing as they are both at home so they want to be comfy and there is no need for them to wear fancy clothing as this isn't the right setting for this. Another similarity between both characters is thy are both the protagonist in the films. This means they are the main focus and have more camera time then other characters.    

Differences between both characters 
One of the differences between the characters is Charlotte is moving into her house on the same day she spots to antagonist but Casey has lived in her house since she was younger. Also another difference is the type of antagonist in the film as in I's Watching You all the audience knows is that the figure is stalking Charlotte and in Scream the antagonist likes to phone their victim, threaten or chase them and then kills them in a brutal way.
