Evaluation Activity 3



This image shows the name of our film production. we decided on this as our original idea was bold and bright which we thought wasn't appropriate for a horror film so we changed it but so we could still keep our name " A GOLDEN CASTLE FILM".

Everything involved to make the film successful including filming, editing, budgeting our film, scheduling what is happening in each scene, writing the script, choosing the right actors, actresses that will make the film a success, organizing staff and their roles involved in making the film, where and how we are going to distribute the film and finally how we are going to market/promote our film.

If we wanted to distribute the film ourselves we decided to sell to Netflix. There are many reasons behind this idea such as where we only had a small budget to produce the film in order to make more money than our budget Netflix would be the best place to distribute our film compared to distributing it to cinemas as this may lead us to lose money and the film not being a success. The money we would receive would come from Netflix as they would buy our film from us for a certain amount of money which we would decide on whether to take the offer but would have to be over the cost of the budget in order for us to accept. If this didn't work out we would go to a different film studio that has produced successful films and offer them a price for our film as we want to make a big enough profit ti be able to get twice the amount of our budget for the film to be successful.

Throughout our film there are many titles included like the names of the production teams who helped make this film a success. Every person in the production team had their own role including Ellis Cole and Chloe Tullett who did the script and sort all of the scene information, myself and Kieran Amos who featured in the film and Hannah Bowyer editing after all the filming was done.
